Knowing what to measure, how to interpret the results, and most importantly, how to communicate what drives change is harder than ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This was the central theme of Seramount\u2019s June <a href=\"https:\/\/seramount.com\/solutions\/assess360\/#evs\">Employee Voice Session (EVS)<\/a>, where senior HR executives shared their challenges and lessons learned. Most organizations now track a wide range of metrics, from compensation to engagement, but half of the participants admitted they struggle to select the right metrics and translate them into actionable intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-paradox-of-people-analytics\"><strong>The Paradox of People Analytics<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/amazingwork.substack.com\/p\/the-evolution-of-people-analytics-a9c\">People analytics has matured<\/a> from basic reporting to a core strategic function. Some companies use homegrown systems, and others rely on HRIS platforms or third-party analysis. With so many options, it\u2019s easy to get lost in the numbers and lose sight of what matters most. As one EVS participant put it, \u201cThere are so many KPIs. Why does this matter for talent initiatives and business outcomes? <a href=\"https:\/\/greatergood.berkeley.edu\/article\/item\/how_stories_change_brain\"><strong>Research shows that stories activate more parts of our brains than statistics alone, leading to deeper impact and recall.<\/strong><\/a> For HR, this means:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Executives<\/strong> see the connection between workforce trends, retention, productivity, and profit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Managers<\/strong> understand what they can influence and where to focus<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Employees<\/strong> feel heard and know their feedback resulted in real change, which increases trust and participation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Teams that rely on static dashboards or \u201cdata dumps\u201d struggle to move from metrics to meaningful action. Building a culture of feedback, where leaders share what they heard and act on employees\u2019 input, is essential.
